The story of First World War poet Rupert Brooke and two composers'’ journey to Gallipoli, told through their own words and music. A BBC commission written by broadcaster and biographer Kate Kennedy.

Northampton’s Emergency Nightshelter is recruiting volunteers

We are committed to ending the need for people to sleep rough in Northampton, and we are looking for ordinary people who want to make an extraordinary difference.

• Are you a good listener?

• Are you friendly and approachable?

• Are you non-judgmental?

• Do you enjoy being part of a team?

• Do you want to change people’s lives?

Prospective volunteers can now complete an application form online (instead of registering their interest), by visiting to complete the application. 

Volunteers work one shift or more per fortnight:

Includes free training, one-to-one and team support and hands on

experience. Suitable for those looking to get back into work, and those who want to work with people who may have a range of needs.
