Haddon Fields Opening Day - 17th September 2017
The official opening of Haddon Fields will take place at 2.30 pm on 17th September.
We hope to see as many of you as possible there in the afternoon. Miss Anne Haddon, who donated the fields, will be with us, so please come along and say thank you to her.
An oak seat donated by Alex and Mary Pegram to the Friends of Haddon Fields will be unveiled during the afternoon. The Woodland Trust site manager Steve Reynolds and colleagues will also be around to answer any questions that you may have about the site and the work of the Woodland Trust.
Please come along, bring your own picnic, enjoy the natural surroundings and get involved with the events taking place during the afternoon, including competitions for young and not so young.

Our main guest will be Jules Howard, our very own Clipston zoologist, writer and broadcaster who was featured in Courier Issue 5.
Jules will lead family walks around Haddon Fields, highlighting outstanding features, and carrying out activities such as bug sweeping and pond dipping.
Make the most of this opportunity to be enthused by the natural world, right here on your doorstep!
