Haddon Fields - 'Celebration Trees' Planting 19th Nov. 2022
Celebration planting, Saturday 19th Nov. 2022 was a wonderful dry day and a bit of sunshine to make it a happy and unique event.
The day started with all the holes dug out (randomly placed) and marked individually for each type of tree to be planted.
Thirty Four trees had been ordered by people in the village, over half of them were Oaks and a lot of Maple and a few Birch. All the trees were over 1.5m tall.
Each one was planted by the donor(s) and a wooden tag with a personal, laser etched, inscribed dedication attached to their tree.
