  • We are a welcoming, inclusive  and fun-loving group of women of all ages looking for new interests, great company and have a strong sense of community.    If you are looking for new friends and wanting to get involved in village life then get in touch.

    The Main Meetings are the  4th Wednesday of each month, at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, Clipston (except where noted) – Visitors are most welcome for £5 and we have open meetings that welcome men and older children too.

    Additional Social Meetings are in the 2nd week of the month, usually on a Tuesday, at various venues and times of day. 

    The Walking Club goes out the 3rd Tuesday of the month (April-October).  Meet with transport at  Clipston Recreation field carpark to leave promptly at 1.30pm.

     

     Definitely not just jam and Jerusalem! We are a group of women getting together to make new friends, be part of a community, learn new things and have fun.

    January 25th:  Open Meeting.  All welcome

    Books, books, books, everything you didn’t know about them 

    Speaker:  Caroline Bendix .  Winner of the Plowden medal for conservation in 2019 for development of a new discipline of the conservation of books.

    February 22nd:  

    Oranges and Lemons: Tour London from your chair!

    The history and architecture of churches in the nursery rhyme.

    Speaker:  Colin Cohen who was born in the Whitechapel area of London and will explore churches around the city that are often hidden behind larger buildings now,

     

    March 22nd:  

    Annual meeting and Project Linus UK

    After our annual meeting Lynda Hill will be talking to us about qulits that are made for sick and disadvantage children by Project Linus UK

     

    April 26th:  

    Dot Mandala

    Speaker:  Tina Bodsworth 

    Come and create beautiful cards with geometric patterns.  A very relaxing craft.

     

    May 24th:  Open Meeting.  All welcome

    Speaker:  Philip Prew, Red Bull and former McLaren and Mercedes F1 race engineer. 

    Promises to be a fascinating insight into a high powered and exhilarating sport.
