Applications may be made 4 times a year and the deadlines for these proposals will be on
1st Feb., 1st May., 1st Aug. & 1st Nov. for the next 23 years.
The website, www.kwcb.co.uk , is now live and helpful documents for applications and advice can be downloaded and printed directly from the website.
WHO BENEFITS? HOW DOES THE FUND WORK ?
The money available comes from an agreement made with the owners of the local windfarm, who want to encourage the 4 communities to develop facilities that will improve the lives of the villagers. Primarily the 4 Villages will have the opportunity to Benefit from just under £7000 for 23 years per annum each.
There is a wider benefit for Northamptonshire Education available, if the 4 Village Communities do not use all of their funds. There are two Community Fund Representatives per village - they are to counsel applicants on the process to achieve the highest proposal scores.
The Community Representatives for each village are:-
Clipston Roger Wallett & Rob Davidson
Haselbech Rob Harrison & Simon Hunt
Kelmarsh Elizabeth Swain & Dave Blencowe
Naseby Scott Westaway & Paul Kelly
The scoring system is in place to ensure that successful applications have the widest community benefit. The proposal, spend , and benefit are assessed and audited.
