Here comes the bride!
An exhibition of local wedding dresses through the ages was held at All Saints Church, Clipston last weekend, showcasing bridal gowns and wedding stories from the last 125 years.
The event, which took place on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 May as a church fundraiser, displayed 48 dresses lent by women from Clipston and the surrounding area. It included a stunning dress from 1900 which was handmade by the bride and her sisters; three dresses from the 1930s, two Asian wedding dresses, and many from different generations within the same families.
